Privacy
PriceHike is a static site of public prices. This page says what happens to information about you when you visit, based on how the site is built. It was written on November 2, 2026.
What this site does not do
The site does not run analytics. It does not have an account, a signup form, or a cookie banner, because the site's own pages and scripts do not set cookies and do not use browser storage.
The small script on each page does three things, all in your browser: it filters the list you are already looking at, it moves with the j and k keys, and it loads /search.json so the search box can match names locally. Your search text is not sent to us.
There is no form that stores an address. The weekly hike email is not running yet. On the home page and on alerts, "join" opens your email program to [email protected]. We only receive a message if you send one.
A Beehiiv newsletter is planned. It is not connected: the embed setting is empty, and nothing on the site is sent to Beehiiv. If that changes, this page will say so.
Contact
Write to [email protected] about a price, a correction, or this page. The address is the one the site publishes. Mail you send is ordinary email between you and us.
Hosting
The site is published with Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare delivers the pages. This repository does not turn on analytics, and it does not set a cookie. Cloudflare can keep its own logs of requests (for example the page asked for, and the IP address of the request). Those logs are not configured here, and this page does not state how long they are kept.
Outbound links use strict-origin-when-cross-origin. A site you click through to can see that you came from pricehike.app. It does not receive the full address of the page you were on.
Fonts
Pages load IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser requests those files from Google, so Google receives the IP address and the usual request data for that download. We do not control what Google stores.
Links off this site
Links to Shopify, WooCommerce, a subscription provider, or a news source are marked rel="nofollow". No affiliate link is configured today. If one is added later, from a program we have actually joined, that link is also marked rel="sponsored". What the other site does after you arrive is their own policy. The affiliate disclosure on the about page says that a commission would not change which prices we list or how they are ordered.
Public pages and crawlers
The prices are public. robots.txt allows search engines and the AI crawlers named there. /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt are public copies of the same price pages. They do not contain information about visitors. Once a day, IndexNow is sent a list of public URLs whose prices changed. That list is URLs, not information about who read them.
